It had both heart and intelligents which most shows today have very little of. Denny's and Alan's relationship was the best lost story on TV. And yes it was very liberal, THANK GOD!!! We have seen enough of the dogma of conservatism in our everyday lifes. It is ok to think and this show made me think. Shows like The West Wing and Boston Legal are why I watch TV.
