It reflects the thoughtful, pensive, and hard work of David Kelley; clearly his own legal training and ambition to maintain a current vista from which he creates the stories are inimitable and peerless. The fact that he can display a vignette of serious dimension and apply therein a trace of sufficient humor to evoke a belly laugh at some point clearly evidences his unique talent.
