If you want to see how America (and Americans) will look in the future go see this this bitter sweet movie. At last an animation which does not portay the typical overly happy, naive, and predicatable story line (don't get me wrong - I do love Shrek and Toy Story etc) - but it's just nice to have a change once in a while. I can see why Ledger lost his mind after performning in this role. Dark and Nasty. I accidentally took my kids - well, they did love the other batman films. I kept looking at my seven year old saying "are you okay watching this?". And he just kept saying "Awesome!" Was this review helpful? Directors must know by now that a movie has be interesting to kids and their parents if it's going to be successful. What a load of rubbish. Having said that my kids loved it of course. Oh well.
